Dr. Julie Robinson

FRACGP, Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (currently on maternity leave)

Julie completed her medical degree at The University of Sydney where she graduated with first class honours. She then worked in numerous hospitals around New South Wales gaining experience in general medicine and chronic disease management before moving to Melbourne and embarking on life as a GP.   

Before becoming a doctor, Julie worked as a physiotherapist and pilates instructor. She likes being able to bring her experiences from her past career as physiotherapist to her work as a GP.

Julie enjoys working with families and is interested in Women’s health including contraception, family planning, and early pregnancy management. She is also interested in sexual health for people of all ages and lifestyles.   

Julie has additional training in implanon insertion and iron infusions.  

Outside of work Julie enjoys creative activities like sewing and crafting. She likes to cook and is a keen reader of fiction. On a day off she can be found down at the local dog park with her dog Alfie and a coffee from her favourite café.
