Dr Nina Sandford

FRACGP, MD

Dr Nina graduated with a Bachelor of Clinical Science/Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Flinders University in 2015. She initially pursued a career in Emergency Medicine, spending her Junior Doctor years in Darwin NT, and then in Brisbane QLD where she became a GP. Her time spent in hospitals  has provided her with a broad range of experience, but once she started GP training she has never looked back. Dr Nina completed her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of GPs (FRACGP) in January 2022.  She has just moved into the local area from Brisbane, to be closer to her family.
Dr Nina has a special interest in sexual health and women’s health. She is happy to offer you support in the management of your medical conditions, paediatric health, mental health, unplanned pregnancy, obstetric care, and sexual health. Please note that Dr Nina is not yet a ‘Shared Care GP’ with local maternity hospitals, but is aiming to join this soon.

Outside of work Dr Nina enjoys bird watching, camping, and the AFL. She would greatly appreciate any local birding tips.
Dr Nina operates her own medical service business at The Clinic Footscray.
