Dr. Vera Ramasamy

FRACGP, Vocationally Registered General Practitioner

Dr. Vera is a Vocationally Registered General Practitioner and has been consulting from the Clinic Footscray since 2018.

Vera completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University in 2008, then graduated from a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at Deakin University in 2012.  She subsequently worked in Geelong Hospital, Frankston Hospital and Warrnambool Hospital.

Vera then completed her Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine at Werribee hospital, can continues to use these skills in general practice, both at the clinic and at the age care facilities she attends regularly.

Vera enjoys the broad scope that general practice offers

Her special interests are:

  • Women’s health (trained in Implanon NXT insertion and removal)
  • Paediatrics
  • Sexual Health
  • Travel Health
  • Preventative medicine
  • Palliative care
